There was wonderful news in June!
A Mr. Sakamoto's high school classmate contacted us.
The gentleman sent us a hearty message to Mr. Sakamoto. It started with "I've read about you on the high school alumni bulletin. Do you remember me?" and he offered cat food donation. When our staff called Mr. Sakamoto and told him about his friend, Mr. Sakamoto was so touched and seemed to be shedding tears. He was very happy with this treasured reunion.
And, there were many other donations and warm messages to Mr. Sakamoto and us last month.
Again, we truly appreciate your continuous help and understandings very much.

*The number of animals cared by Mr. Sakamoto at the end of June:
Dogs 21, Cats 15, Birds 400, Guinea pigs12, Rabbits 11, Goats 2
(2 dogs and 1 guinea pigs were adopted by an animal shelter group. We thank them for it!)

Amazon Wish List updated for July

  • Foods
Taking account of the amount of stocks, foods for birds, dogs and cats are listed. Foods for new born chickens were added to the wish list, as they need the smaller bite of the foods.(→Photo: New born chicks are growing healthily!)
  • Dog poles and leashes
Dog poles and leashes are getting old and some of them are damaged. We wish to replace them with the stronger ones. We thank you for 9 poles and 2 leashes, which have been already donated by June.(Please see the wish list for the current remaining numbers.)
  • Household pest control items
There are still so many of annyoing rats. They reside in the house where animal foods are stocked and eat them. Sometimes the rats dare to attack back and try to bite watchdogs! Also, as the extremely hot temperature continues, the number of flies and mosquitoes are increasing.
