Closure of Sakamoto san Oentai support group

Announcement of closing Naraha Iyashi-no-Mori: Sakamoto san Oentai support group

Thank you very much for supporting 'Naraha Iyashi-no-Mori: Sakamoto san Oentai'.

We would like to inform you that Sakamoto san Oentai, a volunteer support group for Mr. Sakamoto and his animals, will be closing the activities on March 20, 2015.

Still, let us tell you that Mr. Sakamoto will been continuing Amazon Wish List and Twitter by himself. Starting this January, we have been arranging a mobile communication environment, web tools and knowledge for him to keep his ties with supporters. Now, he tweets about him and the animals' latest news and information from Iashi-no-Mori everyday. We sincerely hope that all of you kindly continue the support to Mr. Sakamoto as ever.

Although there are some small improvements for living in adjacent areas of Fukushima Nuclear Power Plant, such as resuming of utilities and Naraha town office's municipal function, the very difficult and challenging situation has not changed yet. And, the bitter fact is that people's concern and interest is now fading away as years pass by.

Under the circumstance like this, it is very sad for us to decide to end Mr. Sakamoto's support group. We are made of a small number of staffs and members' personal and private matters made it hard to continue our activities.

In these two and half years of our supporting activities, we are heartily appreciated all of you from our hearts, making generous clicks at Amazon WL site, sending warm donations, filling forms with encouraging messages, and kindly commenting and retweeting on Twitter. We will treasure all of your hearty help to Mr. Sakaoto and us.

Again, thank you very much for all of your help and supports.

Sincerely,
Naraha-Iyashi-no-Mori: Sakamoto san Oentai
